If I'm Found Review

If I'm Found by Terri Blackstock. 5 Stars.

Casey Cox is still on the run from crooked cops who killed her father and her friend, Brent (she was framed for the murder of Brent). Dylan Roberts is still on her trail but this time he on her side. They keeps in contact after he's let her escape when he had her in his grasp in the last book.

Casey is trying to find more evidences about the real murderers, she come across another unbearable injustice. A child who is being abused and a man who is suicidal because he is being falsely accused. Casey take a chance to right this wrong and shield the child from her abusers while being in danger. She know this is risky and she might be captured and she'll probably be killed before she ever steps foot in a jail.

In this enthralling sequel to If I Run. Can Dylan help her find God in this dark time or will he be just another heartbreak yet to happen?

This book was AMAZING!!! Terri Blackstock did a great job! I love the budding romance between Casey and Dylan I was feeling very emotional when I finished If I'm Found. because I was wanting more. This is one of the reason why I don't like series because I have to wait and I don't like to wait haha. I am REALLY looking forward to the finale, which I am sure will be.....amazing again!

I highly recommend If I'm found to anyone who like thriller/suspense! You can read this as a stand alone but you would understand this sequel a lot better if you read the first one. :)

If I Run Review

If I Run by Terri Blackstock.

I really enjoyed reading this one. It kept my attention. I have already started reading the 2nd one (If I'm Found) in this series.

Casey Cox is on the run because she discovered her friend, Brent who was murdered and she know the police will think she did it because of the evidences.

Dylan Roberts is hired to track Casey down and bring her back for justice. He didn't think it would be hard to find but Casey is smart. Dylan digs into Casey's past to figure out what she might be thinking and he finds that she doesn't fit the profile of a killer. There is something else going on. You will just have to read it and find out what it is. :)

I gave it 4 stars.

I recommend If I Run to anyone who like mystery/thriller. It does

Thank you Netgalley and Zondervan for providing me a ebook copy in exchange for my honest review. :)

Moving Target Review

Moving Target by Lynette Eason.

I think I found a new favorite author and book! Moving Target was amazing! I gave this 5 stars. I read this in 24 hours (very rare do I finished a book in 24 hours). I didn't want to put it down. I am looking forward to reading more of Lynette Eason's books. :)

This is the third book in a series and can be a standalone. I haven't read the first two and I didn't have any trouble reading this one. I am planning to read the first two before the final book is released.

Maddy and Quinn are kidnapped by a serial killer. The serial killer wants them dead. They both have such difficult pasts and they are force to face them when their lives are in danger. I thought I knew who the serial killer was but I was wrong. I love a book when I can't figured out who the killer is.

You will not want to put this book down when you are reading it. I recommend this to anyone who like mystery thriller. :)

Thank you to Netgalley and Revell for providing an e-book copy in exchange for my review.

Boot-cut Jeans Into Skinny Jeans

I decided to try something new Monday night. I saw this on Pinterest and I made a pair of my boot-cut jeans into modest (not tight) skinny jeans.

It wasn't that hard. I followed the tutorials on this blog http://www.rachelteodoro.com/2010/11/making-your-own-skinny-jeans.html

I sewed mine by hand because I don't have a sewing machine.

I wished I remember to take a before picture but I forgot to. :(

Please excuse my dirty mirror. It has been a while since I cleaned lol.

I had to redo it a few times. I know it is not perfect but I will do better next time. Have you ever tried to turn jeans into skinny jeans?

Wildflower Harvest review

Wildflower Harvest: Also Includes A Bonus Story of Desert Rose by Colleen L. Reece.

What a sweet story! It has been a while since I read a book by Colleen L. Reece. Wildflower Harvest is about two twin sisters Laurel and Ivy Ann who lives with their parents in West Virginian. They meet a handsome doctor, Adam Birchfield who seems to like both of the sisters. There is a rift between the sisters which makes one choose to do something unexpected. Adam leaves West Virginian to joins his older brother Nat in Wyoming who is a preacher. Laurel decides leave and go to Wyoming too. Who will Adam choose? Laurel or Ivy Ann? Bonus story: Desert Rose is a sequel to Wildflower Harvest set 20 years later about a woman who falls in love with a man through his letters. I won't tell you anymore because it would be a spoiler to Wildflower Harvest. You will just have to read it and find out what happened. :)

I recommend these two stories to anyone who like Christian historical fiction.

That Moment When You Get A Good Deal On Books!

Don't you love it when you get a good deal on books? Well, I do especially when you get 85 books for $22. No, I am not joking.

A lady in town was selling a box of Love Inspired series for 50 cents a piece but she let me get all of them for 25 cents a piece. Of course I couldn't say no. ;)

The Newcomer Review

The Newcomer by Suzanne Woods Fisher was a good one. It took me a little longer to finished it because I had troubled reading at first but once I got halfway through the book it was a lot better.

This is a historical Amish book about Anna Konig and her fellow church members. They have been traveling 10 weeks across the ocean before they finally arrive in Philadelphia. They are eager to start a new life in Pennsylvania frontier. Bishop Jacob Bauer, founder of the settlement and father to ship carpenter Bairn. It is a reunion for the Bauer family. Anna and Bairn are in love. :) The exciting moment does not last for long before Bairn is offered a chance to cross the ocean one last time. Will Anna wait for him or will she marry Henrik Newman the newcomer who joins the church?

I gave it a 4 stars

I am planning to read the next one, The Return in this series. Suzanne Woods Fisher is a great author! :)

I recommend this to anyone who like historical Amish fiction.
